A second home

Syin-Lu has daytime, nighttime and all-day daycare centers for people with intellectual disability. Small scale, localized, without high walls, residents live freely in a home-like environment. We assist them to try daily things and to make decisions for themselves. Collecting experiences little by little, they build their own unique life journeys. When caregivers grew older, when families do not have sufficient resource to provide care, people with intellectual disability can come to these "second homes" to discover their untapped potentials.

Life reconstruction

For people with intellectual disability who need assistance in everyday life, we provide two years of continuous supports teaching daily life skills, crafting, assistive devices know-how, community adaptation, also provide career reconstruction and preparation, hoping to maintain/improve their ability to live independently. We help rebuilding their lives and assisting them back to society without problems.
